Just wondered who's coming along and fancy meeting up on the Sunday night for a beer? And check out the 888 exclusive in the member's area that Mark just posted ;)

I am skipping Amsterdam alltogether this year.

I am still dealing with the bronchitis I brought back from London.

I have two things planned this spring that will keep me occupied - the G&C Vegas meet and spring planting in my new garden.

To be frank, I am getting tired of all the travelling, I think one conference and two G&C Vegas meets a year will do me fine in the future. That already adds up to one month a year on the road and I think I should draw the line there.

Dunno which conference I will pick next year yet, but me thinks for this year I am done.

I won't be at either Amsterdam event, and I probably won't go to Cancun, either (not a fan of the heat). I might go to something in the fall, or I may wait until 2010 to attend another conference.

If someone plans a conference in the U.S. or Canada, I'd seriously consider going. Perhaps it could be right before or after one of the generic webmaster / affiliate conferences. ;)

I take my guys to Vegas each spring and fall, you are more than welcome to join us there anytime. The more, the merrier.

I've always thought just meeting with a bunch of other affs and chatting about stuff is a worthwhile thing.

The fall Vegas meet will coincide with pubcon... in the spring we just plan for warm but not hot weather...so its flexible.

Business as usual: we're exhibiting at CAC this year again.
Our stand will be under the glass roof for the first time, so you won't need your torchlights to find us at the back :D

See you all there.

I'm still thinking about this one. I haven't been to CAC before, but it looks pretty good!

If I do go I'll stay over & go to CAP too... just to see if anyone else actually turns up! :D

{Edit} D'oh! Just realised they are NOT back-to-back as I first thought - I guess I wont be spending a whole month in Amsterdam! :footinmouth:
(Though it is a tempting thought...)

Is everyone invited? If so, what are the dates?

I asked my wife if she fancied going away on a proper vacation this year (instead of always going to Czech Republic every holiday, to see her parents) - and to my delight SHE suggested Vegas!

Sign up to GPWA and tell them you want to come :)

Anyone else getting in Sunday morning and want to meet for lunch?

I was asking Dom about Vegas - not you about CAC! :p

I'm still thinking about CAC - maybe even driving there!
(it's only 311 miles via Calais = under 6 hours).

We'll have to set up a 'dance night' for you and Meister. :p

There is nothing 'proper' about Vegas, dammit! That's why we all love it!

Don't need one mate if you belong to GPWA. Just go to the site and register :thankyou:

Simply as a member? It says on the cac site that you need to be a certified member.. isn't that the seal thingy that you need to put on your sites?

Will try registering and see what happens.

I am bringing Carmen along and need to get her a pass.

Certified just means with private access. besides, you've been on the panels at CAC before - just email Marc and I'm sure he'll let you and Carmen in mate ;)

Yeah, just ask Marc. Should be no prob.

I also don't think you'll have a prob becoming a private member at GPWA again.

As you can probably already tell by my non-appearance, I opted for AAC, not CAC in the end.

This was heavily influenced by having an automatic entry into the ASOP...

LOL

CAC was good fun as it always is - definately smaller but in many ways that makes life a little easier to get around everyone. AAC I'm guessing will probably be similar. We may know more about GAP too by then I guess.

... and it was only AFTER I had made all my travel arrangements, booked the hotel, etc. that I found out they are NOT having any prizes in the ASOP...  :weepy:

Grrrrrr!
